Teignmouth Lido will open for the summer of 2026 on Saturday 23 May, in time for the half term holiday.
Sessions will include early morning lane swimming, a variety of fun swims, lane swims and general swims, and classes including aquafit, condition swims and ‘Fit for Sea’ lessons.
All activities are included in the Teignbridge Leisure membership packages and non-members can choose to buy a day pass or session tickets, providing flexibility for all users.
Work to get the Lido ready to reopen has included a comprehensive deep clean, the installation and set-up of IT infrastructure and the successful recruitment of seasonal staff.
Teignbridge District Council Executive Member for Leisure and Recreation Councillor John Nutley said: “After listening to our residents our staff have been working incredibly hard to open the Lido for the summer with a wide-ranging programme of sessions and classes to encourage wellbeing across all ages and abilities.
“The Lido remains an important part of the local community, providing a space for families, residents and visitors to enjoy outdoor swimming and leisure throughout the summer months.
“I am incredibly proud of the huge amount of work our staff have put in to get the pool ready to open by the start of May half term.”
