A North Devon media company has handed over the sponsorship space on a local cricket club’s new kit to support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
Seth Conway Media has funded the sponsorship of Fremington Foxes Cricket Club’s new shirts for the 2026 season, but instead of featuring its own branding on the front, the company has donated the prime logo space to the charity which is based in the same village.
Seth has a long-standing connection with CHSW and especially Little Bridge House in Fremington. Explaining the decision to give the sponsorship exposure to the charity, Seth Conway, founder of Seth Conway Media, said:
“I first reported from the hospice back in 1999, helping to tell the story of Eddie and Jill Farwell. Throughout my time at ITV News, I was always keen to help publicise the incredible work the hospice does, including marking its 25th anniversary with a week-long series charting its growth from one hospice to three across the region.

“Being able to support CHSW in this way now, particularly following Eddie’s death last year, feels very special. Hopefully, seeing the charity’s logo on the shirts helps to raise awareness of the work they do and encourages further support locally.”
The CHSW logo will feature prominently on the front of the Fremington Foxes’ coloured cricket shirts throughout the season, offering increased visibility for the hospice within the local community.
The move comes as the North Devon Pub and Club League introduces coloured strips for the first time, requiring clubs to update their playing gear. Team manager Stuart Ware said the sponsorship had come at a crucial time for the club:
“Introducing coloured kit this season is an exciting change for the league, but it also means a significant extra cost for teams like ours. We’re extremely grateful to Seth Conway Media for stepping in and, even more so, for choosing to support such an important local charity.
“It means a lot to the players to represent CHSW, and we’re really looking forward to raising additional funds for them over the course of the season.”
Children’s Hospice South West provides vital care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across the South West.
Poppy Harrop, Area Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to Seth for his generosity and creativity in supporting Children’s Hospice South West. It’s wonderful to see someone use their passion for local sport to make a real difference to local families. With Little Bridge House based right here in Fremington, this support feels especially meaningful, and we’re so thankful to Seth and the whole team at Fremington Foxes for proudly wearing our logo on their new kits. Their kindness will help us continue providing vital care to children and families across the area.”
Fremington Foxes begin their new season this month.
