Hundreds flock to Tapeley Park as FEAST serves up another hit event

Food lovers gathered at Tapeley Park near Bideford as FEAST – Bank Holiday Food and Drink Festival returned for its fourth year, bringing together some of the West Country’s leading food and drink producers alongside street food vendors, live music and family entertainment.

Held on Monday, May 25, the festival welcomed visitors to the picturesque grounds of Tapeley Park, where more than 50 food and drink producers showcased their products alongside a range of artisan stalls and street food traders.

Guests spent the day exploring the gardens, enjoying food and drink from local businesses and relaxing on picnic blankets and additional picnic benches supplied by The Events Depot.

Live music was provided throughout the day by Adam Cumbers Acoustic and The Hoodoo Man Music, who entertained visitors on the dairy lawn, while younger guests enjoyed activities including face painting and bouncy castles.

The festival also featured licensed bars, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy refreshments while taking in views across the estate.

Organisers said the event built on the success of previous years, with a mix of returning favourites and new food and drink producers helping to create a varied festival experience for visitors.

Dogs on leads were also welcomed to the event, which aimed to provide a family-friendly day out celebrating the best of the region’s food, drink and artisan produce.

The annual festival has become a popular fixture in the local events calendar, bringing together producers, performers and visitors in the unique setting of Tapeley Park.
