All aboard as Rock the Torridge returns to raise funds for local groups

Music lovers are being invited to step aboard a charity cruise which will combine live entertainment with fundraising for two North Devon organisations.

The Bideford Bike Show team is organising the second Rock the Torridge Charity Cruise, with proceeds set to support Rootnotes and Bideford Baptist Pre-School.

The event will take place on Friday, July 31 aboard the MS Oldenburg. Guests will board at Bideford Quay at 6pm before the vessel departs at 6.30pm and returns at 9pm.

Live music during the cruise will be provided by Beckon the Wyrd. Organisers said the performance will take place as passengers travel along the River Torridge during the evening.

A fully licensed bar will be available on board. Tickets cost £20 and places are limited.

All money raised from the event will be shared between Rootnotes and Bideford Baptist Pre-School.
